Attempt to lay down to ride myself of the headache brought on by some emergency dental procedures. Can’t pull up blankets because wiener dog falls asleep within half a second.
Since rehoming the kitten, heart repair has involved Ricky and I killing some jerks in Halo, watching Game of Thrones and I think it’s about time for some Diablo.
Sitting in the nice, cool dark of my bedroom and drinking some amaretto to wind down after a long day of power-washing my deck and grilling a feast under the blazing sun. It’s been a good day.

Things are looking up suddenly…
I can’t volunteer at shelters or foster animals anymore. It’s getting way too hard on my heart. I’m going to do anything else I can to assist animal rights and causes, but personally rehoming is way too much. I’m heartbroken tonight over a kitten I knew for 24 hours, and that’s too much.
